Charlie and I first met when refurbishing the Manor House in Headley in 2005 and formed a good friendship with fun and good banter. Golf was a game he was getting to play and we bonded with that. Some years later we connected again when Amy moved next door to my daughter. My late wife always referred to Charlie as cheerful. He was a lovely guy who will be greatly missed.
